90. The god Brahma and the Naga King Kalika pay-homage to the Bodhisattva.
91. The gods adorn 80,000 bodhi-trees.
92/93. While the Bodhisattva is meditating, Mara, the Evil One, recruits a very large army of monsters and demons to attack him. All the arrows and other weapons hurled at the Bodhisattva turn into flowers, falling like rain on his lap.
94. Beautiful women, Mara's daughters are tempting the Bodhisattva.
95. The Bodhisattva receives the Highest Wisdom, leading to the Ultimate Salvation., He has become Buddha, i.e. the Enlightened One.
96. He is honoured by celestial nymphs.
97. The gods bathe him with perfumed water.
98. And afterwards they glorify him.
99. In the second week he takes a long journey through thousands of worlds. From there he returns to the Bodhi tree.
100. In the fifth week he enjoys the hospitality of the Naga king, Mushilinda.
101. In the sixth week he gets up and goes to the tarayana tree, escorted by the gods
102. There two merchants give him some meat during the journey through the forest.
103. In order to eat this he gets from every god a stone disk, which he unites.
104. He receives mild food again.
