My philosophy (or if you want my ideology) is appropriate for today's mode of production of 'humanity (or segment of humanity to which I belong). They are a superstructure to the way in which human beings origin of modern 'Western Europe, with sufficient intellect to have a knowledge of oneself (self-awareness less illusions and superstitious beliefs), plan their lives (you might call the "way of production "but not the only tangible goods to be produced.
I am well aware of the limitations inherent in defining my thoughts as a superstructure. When the "modes of production" will be substantially changed in the future (new quality arising dall'accumulazione certain quantity), my philosophy, or ideology, will need to be amended.
An important change in the way of production, I can anticipate, and therefore can indicate how my ideology must change. The turning point will be when humans will be able to produce what I call the next life "eternal".
Humans at this point in the history die of accidents, or wars, or victims of a crime or disasters. But above all die of the disease
For decades we can avoid dying in wars, accidents, crimes or disasters. But the disease, which is nothing other than a malfunction of an organ (whatever that is its etiology) will reach the current level of technology, before or after each one of us. If she can we reach 100 years, we are extremely fortunate. No human being has ever reached 150 years.
I want to emphasize this: we will not die because "the time has expired." There is no mechanism chronological internal or external determining how long we live. Every death, so-called "natural" or disease, can lead, from a medical point of view, to certain bodies that do not fulfil their responsibilities within the organisation.
Progress in medicine is nothing more than our ability to monitor and improve even more our physiological dysfunction, whether they are caused by pathogens, radiation, trauma, cancer or anything else.
However, the medical technologies in this stage of human development, can not keep pace with the frequency with which the malfunction of organs develops when we reach advanced age, and therefore in this current moment in history, human beings die on average in a 'Aged between 70 and 80 years, and typically do so for a malfunction of organs.
But human beings are catching on nature, and the fact of being able to achieve the ability to avoid death by a malfunction of organs, is only a matter of when it happens, if not happen.
Skeptics doubt it. But even skeptics 200 years ago had doubts if we would be able to speak in real time to people thousands of miles away, or see what happens in a war zone to another part of the world by our stay. But nowadays, is the phone that television technologies that we consider are fairly straightforward.
We could make us invisible? It 'just another obstacle technology, and are facing.
A device that hides, could make people invisible:
To repair and prevent damage organs so that some human beings do not die for that cause, is not impossible in principle, although we have not yet achieved the details of how to do it. But once done, from the viewpoint of dialectical materialism, this will be the most significant transformation of quantity as ever..
The quantity is every little progress in medical science (as we understand a body care and diseases related thereto). By adding more and more attention to technologies that mosaic, we reach a certain point, a stage at which we are so good in curing any disease in detail, which is becoming a realistic goal to completely avoid the death of damaged organs.
E 'then, when we arrived at a complete new quality, as there is possibility of life "eternal". Of course there are still limits cosmological to immortality: that our solar system imploda a day, and that one day the universe will become property in accordance with the second law of thermodynamics.
But these events are so remote as to be irrelevant to our lives practices.
However, for our lives practices, makes a big difference if we assume that still die to less than 100 years of age, or if we have a realistic chance to live hundreds, thousands or tens of thousands of years.
I say: a realistic possibility. There is no guarantee, certainly not for everyone. Even if the malfunction of organs can be controlled, there will still be new diseases on the horizon, and people still die in accidents and wars, or victims of crimes.
However, in a time that in theory can not only produce our means of subsistence and comfort, but also our survival indefinitely, this change in the mode of production will have the most fundamental impact ever on avutosi superstructure of human society ( their ideologies, including sense of moral and sexual perceptions in the field).
The traditional sellers of life "eternal", all religions, will be those who suffer most from this change. Many people finally pass from religions and other transcendental nonsense, science and practice extension of life.
My ideology, emphasizing the optimal sexual experience, followed by a mercy killing, you will not also more appropriate. On the contrary, an ideology then appropriate, will focus first and foremost sull'evitare death, with everything else postponed to better times. (In this world, not in paradise).
This does not deny the importance of sexual optimal. But people, for example, will be less inclined to break laws to obtain sexual satisfaction, because the prisoners would probably have a worst access to medical technologies and could die from diseases from which people are not in prison could be saved.
Purchè people think that, (it will be dead within a few years (as have reason to believe today), take sexual risks has much more sense ( "in any case, soon I will be dead").
In a world where immortality is an option practice, people probably will put more emphasis in 'get rich, because the best medical care will be available only to those who can pagarsele.
The avoidance of death is likely to be a puzzle made of various medical interventions, and not a single event (as would be the drink fountain of youth). It will also little in common with that which is associated with the extension of life today (the sale of dietary supplements without a party charlatans).
Since immortality in the future not only include the prevention and treatment of malfunctioning bodies, but also an increase in replacement of organs with shares biological or artificial, it is important to develop a clear understanding of the human being. In other words: who am I?
How exercise, let me start with a hypothetical for many organs standard not only with transplantation from other human beings, but also with artificial devices.
Take, for example, a mechanical foot, a kidney chemical or artificial heart. If each of these devices work as the equivalent biological replaces, then one would not be a different person. It 'clear that I am not my foot, my kidney or my heart.
My being is only associated with my brain, it recorded memories, thoughts that generates, and the conscience that allows me to recognize myself.
When "being" has evolved? The Protozoi not have self-awareness, even though show a behavior generated towards survival. The self-awareness is a function of the complexity of a nervous system that is in place as a new quality, once the nervous system accumulates a sufficient amount of related processes.
To develop a proper understanding of what we are, it is important not to see ourselves at a point of view solo. Instead, the differentiation is what you need.
One element of differentiation I have already introduced in previous articles: our genes are not the tools to propagarci. Rather, our genes using our body, including the brain, to propagate themselves, not us.
In addition, the self-awareness makes us possible to differentiate our interests than those of our genes. These interests are not identical.
The differentiation of ourselves by our bodies is another step towards a just vision of what we are
But we can not go to say that we are the thoughts and awareness generated by our brain (and also of course that we are an 'imaginary soul). Giacchè our brain includes other elements: our feelings, emotions, desires, and yes, even sexual satisfaction.
For this reason, download our brains on computers, not retain ourselves. Indeed, to our satisfaction, we need the representation of our body, including all the feelings to which we are accustomed: see with our eyes, hear with our ears, smell, taste, touch and so forth.
Arriverei even say that we ourselves need to reach certain stages of happiness that are pursued through some means of behaviour. Therefore, reaching an orgasm with a sexual relationship, is better than electrically stimulate the heart orgasm which is located in the brain, although both ways lead to an identical issue of pleasure chemical.
Replace bodies with instruments functioning will not be enough. The instruments must also be connected with the brain to provide the same positive feelings bodies originals.
This is a huge task, and medical technology is far from being able to manage something similar to the level of an entire body.
Thus, even if one day we will be able not only to transplant mechanical tools in our bodies but also, in the opposite direction, to turn our bodies into robots that assomiglino to human beings and that we give the same sensations of our bodies, we certainly still far centuries, and probably even millennia, this particular solution.
However, the contemplations above are important to give us an idea of ourselves, to be contrasted to what is not part of us, which includes, though it seems strange, our body.
I think that many will agree that, in principle, to a certain level of human development, it will be possible to achieve the 'immortality (the mortality decay postponed bodies of thousands of years) but will not have anything to do with the current imbroglio experts extension of life, because an effort is enormously complex and full of complications.
Thus, for future generations, there will be no need really for a long time the changes to my ideology, which I stressed to avoid the possibility of dying for decaying bodies.
In the meantime, what we have to aspire is the optimal sexual experience for our whole life, and, later, a sweet death.
